We are writing to you on behalf of the Nigerian Community Business & Citizens Service, NigerianCBCCS), a membership-based organization that aims to promote and celebrate African culture and heritage in the United States. We are organizing an event called African Singles and Couples Show & Gala Night, which will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 7 pm to 12 am, at the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
This event is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for singles and couples of African descent and those who appreciate African culture to network, socialize, and have fun in a glamorous setting. The event will feature:

- A fashion show showcasing the latest trends in African attire
- A comedy show featuring hilarious jokes and skits by African comedians
- A speed dating session for singles looking for love
- A raffle draw with amazing prizes
- A delicious buffet of African cuisine
- A dance floor with a DJ spinning the hottest Afrobeat tunes
We expect to attract over 500 attendees from diverse backgrounds and professions, who share a common interest and passion for African culture. This event will also generate significant media exposure and publicity, as we have partnered with several local and national media outlets, such as African Media, [Baltimore Sun], and [ABC News].
